Chugwater Express Project

The Chugwater Express Project is committed to renewable energy. Southeastern Wyoming has some of the best wind generation potential in the US and is a preferred region for locating large scale wind generation.

The Chugwater Express Project is a new 120 mile, 230kV transmission line being developed by Chugwater Transmission Express LLC. Itwill provide this new wind generation with a connection to PacifiCorp’s proposed new Aeolus Substation, northeast of Hanna, Wyoming, from where it can be transmitted to the major regional population centers of the West.
